I spent part of my childhood spending every day with my grandmother. Unforgettable breakfasts with bread, eggs and sweet black tea. Hearing the sounds of her belly after lunch and feeling her dry hand caressing mine. We spent so much time together that I thought she lived with me.
To this day I find my grandmother in my daily life. In the smell of oranges, in her absent-minded humming, in crossword puzzles and in the curiosity to learn what I still don't know.
To this day she also laughs at a tennis match with shouts and boos that I gave her as a gift. Perhaps one of my first drawings. This book-tribute dedicated to Grandma Cenira was born from these memories.
